Fading is a bilingual poetry manuscript in English and Spanish, including 22 poems on love, grief, and longing, from a daughter to her mother who has lived with Frontotemporal Dementia for over 18 years. The poems are the author's attempt to come to terms with her mother's demise, while trying to understand who she was by describing her from her and her family's memory.

Apart from being a homage to the most important person in her life, Tesla's wishes her poems to be enlightening for others who are going through the slow loss of their loved one.

Desvaneciendo es un libro de poesía bilingüe en inglés y español que reúne 22 poemas sobre el amor, el duelo y el anhelo, escritos de una hija a su madre, quien ha vivido con Demencia Frontotemporal por más de 18 años.

Por medio de sus poemas, la autora intenta reconciliarse con la pérdida gradual de su madre, mientras trata de comprender quién fue ella a través de los recuerdos propios y los de su familia.

Además de ser un homenaje a la persona más importante de su vida, Tesla desea que sus poemas sean un consuelo y una luz para quienes atraviesan la lenta despedida de un ser querido.
